Dunlavin Horses - specialists in Importing horses to the USA for the sport of Eventing
Rebecca
and working partner Sinead Halpin currently travel to Buenos Aires twice annually
to scout and select horses. They work exclusively with trainers and breeders
with whom Dunlavin has an established relationship. They find horses that have the talent, the mind and the potential for upper
level Eventing.
These horses are sold and compete under the Dunlavin name.
The Silla Argentino Breed: Argentina has long been passionate about their horses. The pampas “gaucho”,
ardent racing fans, and the best polo players in the world, epitomize
Argentine culture. Military Stud Farms have been organized in the country since the late 1800’s,
utilizing some of the best breeding animals from England, France and Ireland.
Careful selection has produced a performance thoroughbred that is particularly
suited to our sport of 3Day Eventing.
