Rebecca Howard 
Rebecca is a Canadian High Performance Event Rider from Salmon Arm BC. She currently sits on the Canadian Event Team "short list" with Riddle Master, and is on the "long list" with Roquefort. Rebecca is ranked 19th on the USEA 2009 Rider Leader Board, and was the leading foreign rider at the Fairhill International in both the CCI** and CCI***.
Rider development included 6 years of working in Middleburg, Virginia with many of the sports leaders – most notably David and Karen O’Connor, and a working partnership in Dunlavin Eventing and Derbycross. She continues to train & collaborate with David O’Connor who is now technical advisor to the Canadian Team, as well as schooling with the likes of Captain Mark Phillips and other industry icons.
Rebecca has been the Equestrian Director at The Fork Stables, in Norwood, North Carolina since 2006. This outstanding facility is home base for Rebecca's depth, experience, coaching, training, horse sales, and working student / Young Rider programs.
As a founding member of the Pro Riders Organization, Rebecca is also involved with efforts aimed at improved competition standards, safety promotion, and attracting new fans, sponsors and participants to the sport of eventing. |

Coaching Credits
Rebecca consistently developed links to quality, upper level coaches in her riding development both in her home province, and during the past 9 years in the United States. Those who have left their mark on her thinking and approach to horses and the sport, include:

Joni Lynn Peters
Joni is a level III event coach, was
named to the Canadian 3Day Team on three occasions; and was the Ontario
Horse Trials Association Leading Female Rider six of the nine years she
spent in that province. Back in BC since 1994, she was short listed to
the National Dressage Team in 98/99 with The Equalizer, her Advance horse that had earlier short listeded with the Canadian Event Team. She remains an elite listed rider with Dressage Canada. In 2003 Joni was invited to train in Germany with her young mount Wilkin.
Nick Holmes - Smith
Nick was winner of two Gold Medals
at the PanAm Games and a member of several World Championship & Olympic
Teams from 1980 thru ’92. He currently operates a cross country
schooling facility in central BC and hosts one of only two CCI** competitions

David & Karen O'Connor
David has competed internationally for the United States Equestrian
Team since the late 1986. Since then he has earned 3 Olympic Medals, 2
Pan American Games Medals, a World Championship Medal. He’s won
Rolex twice as a three-star and once as a four-star. He’s won Fair
Hill International CCI*** six times, and in 1997, he became only the second
American in history to win the coveted Badminton CCI****. David topped
the world rankings in 2001.
Karen has been competing at the four star levels
since 21 yrs of age. In 1991, she won Rolex for the first time, repeating
in 1997 and again in 1999 . She placed first and third in the 1993 PunchestownCCI***
and was named the top lady rider, and third overall in the World Rankings
for that year. Based on her national and international performances, Karen
has earned the U.S. Eventing Association's Female Equestrian Athlete of
the Year 8 times since 1989.

Stuart Black
is one of Canada’s leading event rider and has been a National Team Member since 1986. He was a member of two Olympic games and a winner of a gold and silver Pan Am Medal. He continues to compete extensively throughout the UK and the USA.
Jim Wofford
is competitor, coach & author. He is a Team & Individual Medal Winner at Olympic Games, World Championships and is a 5 time US National Champion. He was named US Olympic Committee Developmental Coach of the Year for ’98 &’99, having had a student on every United States Olympic, World Champion, and Pan American team since 1978. Jim Wofford served as the International Technical Advisor for the Canadian Event Team 2002 through 2004
